No electricity humidifier comes from Japan, unleashes the mist dragons in your home

In this age of (“stupid“) there are places on earth where it’s hot and dry and others where it’s freezing cold and dry, so Japanese designer Shin Okada came up with the Mast, a beautiful piece of samurai-age inspired vessel made of Hinoki (Japanese Cypress). Known for its high-quality timber and rot-proof qualities , the thin wood slices of Hinoki mast absorbs water from the hull and diffuses it, and its lemony scent, into the room.
As a plus, it’s really beautiful and would make a nice addition to every green home. This one is not “DIY certified” unless you have a CNC and some high quality Hinoki timber sheets, so get grab one for about 6300 yen (about 50 Euros at 15.01.10 exchange rate).
