Read&Roll – the toilet companion for the morning newspaper

Read&Roll by Turkish Architect Direnc Demirbas

I once wrote about a product called bedside companion, if you remember. This time it’s the bathroom involved, namely the better known paper holder.

Designed by Turkish Architect Direnc Demirbas, Read&Roll offers a simple solution for people that like to read in the bathroom. It is made by plastic injection molding and thanks to its flexibility it can hold diverse thickness magazines/books.

If you ask me this would make a nice flatpacked green paper stand if made out of some metal sheet with appropriate cuts so that it can easely be bend to get that specific shape. That’s why I threw this in the “DIY certified” category.

Otherwise just heat over ay ebay where this guy, maybe the designer himself, is selling it. It’ll set you back about $15 plus shipping.
