MIO’s Bendant chandelier

I like modern chandeliers. I am also keen on flat-pack furniture. What about a modern flat-pack chandelier that can also change shape to suit your light needs by covering/uncovering the bulb at your command? That sounds like the mother of all chandeliers right? If I got you interested cross over and get some pretty pictures of the thing.

The MIO’s Bendant chandelier makes good use of a flower petals arrangement that can be lift up to let more light flow into the room or can be arranged to cover more of the bulb so everyone’s taste can be suited.

And after complete installation and bulb addition you’ll see something like this:

It’ll set you back $175 for this cutie which they advertise as affordable but in my side of the world this is pretty much so even if this is powder coated laser cut steel I dream of a similar DIY project to use some recycled materials. This would be totally green.
