From time to time it comes to my mind how many useful stuff I throw out as garbage. Most of times I am too busy – and most of us are – to think to clever ways of re-purposing what we generally call “trash”. But that is what designers can do as imagining new useful and appealing objects to ease our lives.

Check out this lamp shade made out of yogurt cups. So simple to build. The 70 cups of Fruchtzwerge, a German yogur, are kept together by metal rings and there is a common lampshade inside that keeps the shape around the bulb.
