new-concept digital presentation tool: Prezi, the zooming map prezentation

Zoomable presentation interface

I haven’t seen any improvement in the concept of software presentation tools for a very long time and this one got me surprised.

Even similar concepts exist like mind mapping user interfaces, zoomable presentation tools like this seem so natural and simple to understand and use.

The Hungarian Prezi online tool lets you upload texts, images, videos, PDFs, drawings and present them in a nonlinear way by using a huge “map” of every “slide” and one can go to any other by clicking on the map or follow the author’s original path. The slideshow effect is simple but very efficient, a zooming out effect + pan to the interested area + zoom in the interested area, this last one could be also a mix of text, images, etc.

Watch this youtube video and judge for yourself:

Seems like a heck of a tool for green initiatives.
