Machine-Wash your clothes without detergents

Just as the air around cascades is so fresh and healthy, due to the ions that are created by the flow, scientists have developed a washing machine that based on that removes the stains in your clothes. Now we can buy the real thing that comes from Haier. Named WasH2O, the machine breaks up water molecules into OH- and H+ ions, where OH- acts as the cleaning agent by attracting and retaining stains while the H+ ions sterilizes the clothes.

I’m not very sure of the results of washing clothes this way but I suspect that before releasing it to the market they’ve tested it and it worked. Otherwise I don’t see why put so much effort into developing a thing that won’t catch up to the public. If energy rates are the same with those of actual washing machines and additional costs aren’t kept buried by Haier than this will really be a contender to my bathroom.
